Nancy Piper

Nancy (Banker) Piper, age 84, of Fairlee VT passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 26, 2020.She was born in Thetford Ctr., VT on November 16, 1935 to the late Charles & Hilda Banker of Thetford Ctr., VT.Nancy graduated from Thetford Academy in 1953 and later married her high school sweetheart of 67 years Herman Piper of Lyme, NH.Nancy is predeceased by three of her children, Michael, Debra and Douglas. She is survived by her husband Herman Piper of Fairlee, her children David Piper & wife Cindi of Fairlee, Donna Uline & husband Allen of Fairlee and Nicholas Piper & wife Mandy of Plainfield, NH, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.Nancy was a loving mother and grandmother who loved gardening, cooking and taking care of her family and other children.The family wishes to express their warmest gratitude and appreciation for the loving care given by the Blue Spruce family over the past three years and also to Bayada Hospice for their love and support in her final months.A graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.An online guestbook is available to leave messages of condolence for Nancy's family by visiting halefuneralhomes.com.
