Nancy Pumper

1961 - 2025

Northfield - Nancy M. Pumper, age 63, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025. She was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, remembered for her kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Born November 15, 1961, Nancy especially cherished time with her grandchildren, creating memories filled with laughter and love. She was a proud member of the Northfield VFW and loved spending time at her lake property in Emily, Minnesota-fishing, relaxing, and enjoying bonfires with family.

Nancy recently worked at Bon Appétit at Carleton College and later at Menards, where she brought warmth and dedication to all she did.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Pumper; her mother, Barbara Mahul; her son, Chris Greene, and his wife Haillie Greene of Faribault; her daughter, Jana Greene of Northfield; and grandchildren: Walker and Waylon Greene of Faribault; and Hayley Greene, Kameron Hill, Kiya Hill, and Amiya Greene of Northfield.

She was recently preceded in death by her brothers, Steven Sandell and Michael Sandell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 29 at 4:00 PM at L&M Bar and Grill in Dundas, Minnesota. All who knew and loved Nancy are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prairie's Edge Humane Society-an organization close to Nancy's heart-or by simply sharing a kind act in her memory.
