Nancy Susan Quinn, of Brush, Colorado, passed away on May 14, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Nancy was born on January 6, 1948, in Peterborough, New Hampshire to Richard and Irene Pajanen. She was their only child.
Nancy had an ordinary life until she met Jerrold "Jerry" Quinn, they married on April 13, 1968, at the tender age of 20, and her adventures started! Nancy had her set interests at the beginning, sewing, baking and needlework. Nancy and Jerry moved to Colorado to pursue his passion for gun school. This was the beginning of her life's journey. She had their son, Richard, in February 1973. Being a mom was one of her greatest joys, and being a grandmother was another! Nancy's circle was small, but if you were part of that circle, you were golden.
Nancy loved family events, often going overboard. She absolutely loved Christmas, outside of Jerry requesting several dozen loaves of her famous Finnish coffee bread for him to give as gifts to neighbors and friends. If you got one of those loaves, you knew you were special to her.
Nancy leaves behind her husband, Jerry; son, Richard (Dee) Quinn, and grandson, Brooks Quinn.
A celebration of Nancy's life will be held on Monday, June 10th at 1:00 PM at Heer Mortuary in Brush.

Nancy was the best mother in law . She was so enjoyable to spend time with. I remember the first time she took me shopping man she could shop and wore me out but she could of kept shopping. She loved her grandson Brooks very much and she loved big family gatherings. She will be missed by many. My condolences to Jerry, Richard and Brooks.
