Born, in Roanoke Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Preston LaPrade and Lucille Lavinder LaPrade. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Rickman; and her brothers, Richard LaPrade and Robert LaPrade. She was a retired school teacher and a devout Christian.
Left to cherish Nancy's memory are her daughters, Sharon Rickman Fauerbach (John) and Laura Rickman; and grandchildren, Amber Weintraub (Aaron) and David Fauerbach along with extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesville with the Rev John Alexander of Oakley Baptist Church officiating.
