Our beloved Nancy (Pinky) Ebert Ruckh of Wheeling, WV, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital at the age of 85. Pinky was born to her parents Marcella (Delong) and Charles E. Ebert.

She was tough as nails, but somehow soft as velvet. She had a way of making everyone around her feel so loved, so happy, so calm, and so special. She had the purest and most faithful heart and was full of wisdom. She would spend countless hours singing to all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and any baby she lovingly rocked in her arms, Her own version of The Mills Brothers, "Daddy's Little Girl". Now she is singing to and rocking all the babies in Heaven. She loved her family more than anything in the world, and we are all experiencing such a loss in a world without her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Charles, Dale, Willie, William; Grandson Daniel Baker; and son-in-law Robert McCoid.

She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Donald W. Ruckh; children Tracy (Dr. Luke) Spiekermann, Kelly McCoid, Donald (Stacey) Ruckh and Mark (Angie) Ruckh; grandchildren Elaina (Shane), Juliet (Will), Amy (Josh), Molly (Hunter), Summer (Turner), Sami (Brendan) and Emily; great-grandchildren Ellie, Martin, August, Kyan, Lucas, Oliver and Beckett; nieces and nephews, who also called her Nanny; Aysha (Jarrett) and Luka, Maggie and Ian; brothers James (Becky), Tommy, Gary (Bonnie); Sister Cyndi (Brian) Campbell. She is also survived by many beloved family members and special friends.

Pinky requested there be no visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 3828 Jacob Street, Wheeling, WV. Memories and condolences for Pinky's family may be shared at www.carechapel.com.
