Nancy E. Sansbury, 82, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, after a bout of dementia. She was born on September 4, 1943, in Anniston, Alabama, to the late Wise Blitchington and Christine Blitchington. Later in life, she made South Carolina her home.
Nancy was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother - lovingly known as "Nana" to many. She embraced life with warmth and generosity, and her home was always open to family and friends. A proud and passionate University of South Carolina Gamecocks fan, she also found great joy in spending time at the beach, where she felt most at peace.
She is survived by her two daughters, Holly and Dianna Daniels. She also had the pleasure of raising her grandson, Brandon Daniels. Four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her love and spirit will live on in each of them.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
