Nancy Cecilia Schapiro, a beloved wife, to Harley "Satch" Schapiro (deceased 12/1984) a mother, a grandmother, a sister, aunt, and sister-in-law passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 74.
She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Nancy leaves behind her loving son, Shane Schapiro, her grand-dog Smokey, her sister Sandra Spivey and brother-in-law Michael Spivey, her niece Laura (Spivey) Douglas and her husband Larry Douglas and their children Luca Douglas and Lenox Douglas, her brother-in-law EJ Schapiro and nephew Steven Schapiro and niece Meghan Schapiro and her loving companion friend Richard Young .
Nancy found joy in traveling, being social with friends and family whenever she was able to, ballroom dancing and country line dancing, attending plays, concerts and live shows, helping others who were sick or in need.
In honor of Nancy's life, the family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Friday, March 22nd from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A funeral service for Nancy will be held on Saturday, March 23rd at 11:00 am from the funeral home. Interment to follow at Holly Hill Cemetery.
Nancy's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love that she so freely gave in her lifetime.
