Nancy Ann Schopp, 88, of Aurora, IL passed away surrounded by family on January 25, 2026. She was born on November 19, 1937, in Aurora, IL the daughter of Clifford and Bernice (McKeigh) Williams.

Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, family member, and friend. She loved cooking, shopping, and enjoyed gambling, but above all she treasured time spent with her family and friends, especially her beloved grandkids, who were the light of her life. Nancy had a great sense of humor and had a special way of making everyone laugh, bringing joy wherever she went. She worked for many years alongside her father, Cliff, at the Ramada Inn, where she met countless people and formed lasting friendships. She later dedicated many years of service to the DMV before retiring. She loved pets, especially her dogs and she enjoyed the many road trips to the casino with dear friends Shirley Sandor and Rosie Meszaros. Nancy will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, hard work, and the love she shared so freely with those around her.

She is survived by her sons, Tony and Raymond (Karen) Schopp; grandchildren, Robert (Christina) Schopp and Ashley Schopp; great-grandchildren, Savannah and Sienna; nieces Sandy (Mike) Murphy and Lisa (Scott) Roscoe and nephews, Mike and Jerry Williams.

She is also survived by several dear in-laws in the Schopp family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Wayne Schopp and brother Robert "Cowboy" (Norma) Williams.

Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. A luncheon will follow. Interment will take place at Marywood Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care and comfort that was given to her over the past 3 months.
