Nancy Schoultz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ritchay Funeral Home - Wisconsin Rapids on Dec. 3, 2025.
Nancy A. Schoultz, age 79, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, passed away at her home on December 1, 2025.
The family will be holding a private graveside service in the spring.
Nancy was born on September 4,1946, in Wisconsin Rapids to Jessie and Marion (Hunter) Tyler.
After high school, she relocated to Chicago where she became a nanny. Later, she moved to Kenosha where she worked for four years at American Motors, then moved locally where she worked at Nekoosa Port Edwards Paper Company in the office.
She married Bernard Schoultz on February 20, 1976, in Wisconsin Rapids. Come February of 2026, they would have celebrated 50 years of love.
Nancy was a woman who valued family, faith, and friends. She traveled often and especially enjoyed her trips to Europe. At home she always kept busy. She liked working in her flower garden as well as creating beautiful quilts for all her nieces and nephews. Whether a wedding gift or a "first" in someone's life, she was happy to share her love through the gift of a quilt.
She treasured time spent with her closest friends, Diana, Dorothy, and Sandy. She also cherished her "grandchildren"- the chickens, dogs, and cats her daughter raised.
Her faith was an important part of her life, so much so that she read her bible every single day.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, and her dog, Katya.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Bernard; children, Troy Thomas and Julia Schoultz (John Nagawa); sister, Donna Duda; sister-in-law Patricia Tyler; and brother-in-law, Donald Roth.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Marion; siblings, James Tyler, Louise Whaples, Ronald Tyler, Donald Tyler, John Tyler, and Catherine Roth; brother-in-law, Donald Duda; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Tyler.
