Nancy Lee Fisher Shaw, age 91, of Sherwood, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, under hospice care. She was born on July 11, 1934, in Dyer, Tennessee, to Eldon James Fisher and Eva Frances Preslar Fisher.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered around family and service to others. She spent her life as a homemaker, lovingly caring for her family and home. She proudly supported her spouse during military service and traveled alongside him as an Air Force wife.
Nancy was known for her creativity and warmth. She gained a love for flowers while working alongside her mother in their flower shop, which sparked a love for creativity. Nancy’s children have fond memories of the creative costumes she would sew for them at holidays and school events. Nancy worked alongside her late husband, Bill, in the Sojourners Evangelism ministry and was a long-standing member of WindSong Church of Christ in North Little Rock, as well as West Dyersburg Church of Christ of Tennessee.
She is survived by her children: Donna Shaw of Jacksonville, Arkansas; David Shaw of Sherwood, Arkansas; grandchildren, Mari Ortega of San Antonio, Texas and Victoria Tripp of San Antonio, Texas; great-grandchildren Olivia Rodriguez, Eboni Tripp, Pablo Tripp, J-dun Tripp, all of San Antonio, Texas; Nephew, Rob (Vickie) Shaw of Ridgely, TN; Niece, Cindy (Peter) Richards of Flower Mound, Texas, and best friend of 70 years; Betty Stewart.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Shaw; her sister, Doris Shaw of Ridgely, TN; and her parents, Eldon and Eva Fisher.
