Nancy Jane Shultz

Nancy Jane Shultz (Hopkins), 77, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on December 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born July 5, 1948, in Charleroi, Pennsylvania to the late Walter and June (Shrader) Hopkins.

She was an avid shopper and excellent crafter; she was a proud grandma who supported her grandchildren through all their sports and events, and she especially loved when her great grandkids would visit her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Sheldon who passed only 10 months ago; her siblings, Bill Hopkins and Walter Hopkins.

Nancy is survived by her children; William (Karen) Shultz and Tricia (Charlie) Humphreys; brother, Larry (Patty) Hopkins; sisters-in-law, Adele Hopkins and Andrea Hopkins; brother-in-law, Steve Thompson; close cousin, but sister at heart, Carol Ann Smith; grandchildren, Samantha (Larenz) Brown, Alex Humphreys, Nate Shultz, Sydney Humphreys, Mackenzie Humphreys, and Heidi Doles; great grandchildren, C.J., Kayleigh, Phoenix, Morgan, Cailix, and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

Friends and Family are welcome for a visitation on Wednesday, December 10, from 2PM – 4PM and 6PM-8PM at DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 West Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester. Service will be held Thursday, December 11, at 11AM at the funeral home. Brenda Ross will be officiating. Burial at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens will follow.
