Nancy Marlene Taylor

Nancy Marlene Taylor, age 77, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at her home. She was born June 27, 1948, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Howard Lamar and Mary Eloise (Tracy) Taylor. Marlen was a graduate of Greeneview High School, and had worked for Green County Personnel until her retirement in 2003. She had a fondness the Great Smokey Mountains in Tennessee, more than anything she loved her family very much. She will be missed. Marlene is survived by her sister Debbie Reed of Washington C.H.; two nieces, Tracy Ree of Washington C.H., and Tammy (Jay) Todd of Xenia; and six grand-nephews, Brent Copas and Nick Copas of Washington C.H., Daniel Gwin, Andre Gwin, and Michael Toodd all of Xenia, and Thomas Ellsberry of Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to her parents, Marlene is preceded in death by sisters Pat Gwin and Margaret Jo Burba. All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Powers-Kell Funeral Home, Jamestown, is assisting the family.
