Nancy Ann Thompson

TIPP CITY -- Nancy Ann Thompson, age 88 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Upper Valley Hospital of Troy. Nancy was born July 14, 1934, in Miami County Ohio to Roy and Gladys (Carey) Fessler. Nancy is preceded in death by the love of her life of 63 years William "Bill" Thompson, brother, Jerry Fessler and son, Rick Thompson. She is survived by her sister, Emily Holland, New Mexico, sisters in-law Sylvia Fessler, Covington, Ohio, and Debbie Thompson, Tipp City, Ohio, son, Randy (Jane) Thompson, Troy Ohio, daughter in-law, Beth Thompson, Tipp City, Ohio. Also surviving are grandchildren, Derek Thompson, Zachary (Tabitha) Thompson, Ashley (Greg) Tissot and Whitney (Randy) Smith, Great grandchildren, Sloan, Kellen, Lane, Taylor, Lucas, Branton, Grant, Cole, Rylan and Jemma.

Nancy was a graduate of Covington High School. She retired from Tipp City Schools where she worked as the secretary to the Assistant Superintendent. Nancy was a wonderful seamstress, making all kinds of gifts for her grandchildren. She was an avid cook, loved to read and enjoyed gardening. She enjoyed vacationing many years with her family on Torch Lake, in northern Michigan.

Nancy had a deep love for her two boys and that love grew to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, beginning 10:00 AM until the time of the service a 11:30 AM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St, Tipp City, OH 45371; Chaplain Randy Reed officiating, burial will follow in Casstown Cemetery. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Nancy to Hospice of Miami County.
