Mrs. Nancy Carol Tingle, age 73 of Griffin, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Eternal Hope Hospice.
Nancy was born on January 17, 1952, in Griffin to the late Chester Goen and the late Eunice Martin Goen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Tingle; sisters, Barbara Quick and Joyce Grant.
Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was a 1970 graduate of Griffin High School. Nancy will be greatly missed, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Monica Whitworth (Mike); grandson, Roman Whitworth; granddaughter, Ansleigh Whitworth; sisters-in-law, Theresa Dalton, April Pruitt, Connie Cardell (Kevin); brother-in-law, Mark Tingle (Laura); special friends, Warren and Susan Autry; several nieces and nephews.
It was Nancy's request to be cremated and that no formal service be held.
Conner-Westbury Funeral Home 1891 W. McIntosh Road is in charge of arrangements.
