Nancy Carol Brown Tysor

Nancy Carol Brown Tysor, 94, of Siler City, went to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, September 17th, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.

Nancy was born December 13th, 1930, to the late Harvey and Mary Johnson Brown. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hugh Tysor; her infant son, Donnie Tysor; and her brother, Bobby Brown.

Nancy was a manager for over 50 years for Farmers Alliance. She was a very hard-working lady. In her spare time, she loved making cakes and going to the mountains. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jimmy Tysor; her granddaughters, Michelle Martin and her husband, Chris, Heather Tysor, and Ashley Yow and her husband, Tim; her four great grandchildren, Nick, Brett, Bevin, and Lona; and her great great grandchild, Eli.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 20th, 2025, at 2 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Reverend Ray Gooch.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all Nancy’s caregivers and friends.

Memorials may be made to Liberty Hospice and Home Care in Siler City.
