THE MEMORIAL REFLECTIONS
EMMA YVETTE TYSOR, a descendant of the late Randolph Thomas Foxx, Sr. and Janet Tysor Pearson, was born October 11, 1971, in Lee County, North Carolina. She matriculated through the Lee County (NC) School System and Central Carolina Community College,
Sanford, NC. She obtained her licensure and certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was employed in private convalescent settings, in-home health care, and as a receptionist at the dental office of Dr. Karen Petty. In her spare time, VETTE volunteered and assisted her cousin's business - the Southern Savor Food Truck.
VETTE, as she was affectionately called, united with the Cameron Grove African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, Broadway NC, where she was baptized in the Methodist faith at an early age. She supported her church as a member of the Stepping Stones Class Leaders Ministry, the Lay Council, the Stewardess Board, the Young Adults Ministry of the Christian Education Department, and the Church Office Staff. She assisted her mother with the Buds of Promise Children's Missionary Society. She also enjoyed the fellowship and worship with her family at Blandonia Presbyterian Church and Star of Hope OFWB Church,
Sanford, NC.
VETTE had an award-winning personality, a contagious smile, and never met a stranger. Her wonderful soul blessed so many people and we are forever grateful to God for blessing our lives with her kind and compassionate presence.
During the evening of Wednesday, November 6, 2024, our beloved VETTE embraced the peace of God and received her "crown of life and victory" while visiting Waukegan, IL with her parents by her side.
