Nancy L. Westerberg

Nancy Loraine (Richards) Westerberg, age 89 of Triadelphia, WV, formerly of Penn Hills, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Bertil Westerberg. Loving mother of Diana (Bob) Thompson, William (Candi) Westerberg, and Debra (Bruce) Charlton. Nancy is also survived by six grandchildren, Kathleen Batten, Kelly (Jeff) Coates, Colleen (fiancé Nick) Coates, Tiffany McFall, Brittany Sines, and Bruce (Chelsea) Charlton; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Nancy was preceded n death by her parents, Thomas Arthur and Rosanna Richards; and four brothers and sisters.
Nancy was the founder and director of Glory Land Puppet Puppets Ministry, an organization that ministered to nursing home residents in Western PA since 1980. She was an ordained children's pastor at River City Church of Pittsburgh in Trafford, where she had been a member for many years. Beyond her ministry, she had been a key-puncher at Westinghouse early in her work life, and was an activities director at Woodhaven Health & Rehab Center for a number of years.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, June 11 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747), where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 am. Interment to follow at Plum Creek Cemetery.
