Mrs. Nancy Marie White, of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord on September 22, 2025 at the age of 76. She was born in Marysville, Michigan on June 3, 1949 to the late Walter and Marie (Johns) Bukowski. She married Dennis White on December 31, 1995 and together the couple celebrated 29 years of marriage before her passing. Nancy was a member of the Lewiston Lioness Lions Club and the Elk Vivians in Gaylord. As a member of the Lewiston Lioness, every year around the holidays, Nancy would invite members over to her home to sign cards that she would later distribute to local nursing homes. As a member of the Elk Vivians, she worked diligently in their Gold Key program which was designed for special needs children. Those who met Nancy more often than not were greeted with her infectious smile and her warm disposition. She truly had a love for people and making new friendships. She enjoyed golfing, reading, and riding snowmobiles and motorcycles in her younger years. She also enjoyed traveling cross-country with Dennis and would often talk about those adventures. In 1983, Nancy and her two daughters were crowned State Champions for archery. Nancy adored her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She is and will be deeply missed.
Nancy is remembered by her husband, Dennis White; children, Kim (Dave) Koester, Shannon (Allen) Baker, Kelli (Kurt) Klein, and Kevin White; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brothers, Jim (Mary) Bukowski, and Walt (Marge Hall) Bukowski. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Marie Bukowski.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial held in celebration of Nancy’s Life at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston with time and date to be announced.
