Nancy Elliot Wilcox, age 56, of Knoxville passed away peacefully at home on July 25, 2024. She was born July 17, 1968 in Atlanta, Georgia to Shan Charles and Evelyn Elliot Wilcox. Nancy graduated from the University of Virginia, where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, and the University Singers. Nancy was a member of Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She is preceded in death by her father Shan Charles Wilcox, and her grandparents Reed and Evelyn Elliot and Shan and Martha Evelyn Wilcox. Nancy is survived by her mother Evelyn Elliot Wilcox, her brother Shan Reed Wilcox, and her aunt and uncle, Nancy Elliot and Jim McBrearty. A memorial service and celebration of Nancy's life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church, 3700 Keowee Ave., SW, Knoxville, TN 37919. Online condolences may be extended at www.rosefuneraltn.com

Nancy was my sorority sister at the University of Virginia, and I lived across the hall from her during her 3rd year (my 4th year). She was such a smart, well-spoken, fun, engaging, beautiful lady. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, and my condolences to her family and friends.
