Ginger died on November 5, 2023. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of Marion Tidwell Wilson and William L. Wilson, Jr.
Ginger passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She lived life to the fullest. She had many friends and was known to be the life of any party. She loved being a mother and was very dedicated to volunteering in her children's schools. From PTO President, to marching band mom, to softball and football games, Ginger did everything she could to help. When her grandchildren came along, she excitedly became "Mema." She had many adventures traveling to visit her grandchildren and site seeing with her husband. She loved going to concerts, going to the movies, and seeing her family at get togethers.
She is survived by her husband Michael Clayton Thomas; children, Elizabeth "Beth" Paschos (Mike), Katherine "Katie" Hiemer (Tim), and Wilson "Wil" Butler (Brittany); stepchildren, Corrin E. Calvert, Michael R. Thomas (Samantha), and Anna C. Borth (Dustin); brother, William L. "Billy" Wilson, Jr.; and sister, Deborah Blevins.
In addition to her parents, Ginger was predeceased by her brother, Benjamin Kirby Wilson.
