Bob passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Born in Stuarts Draft, VA, he was the son of the late Robert B. Odom and Mary Elizabeth Payne Odom. He was the widower of Kathy Scott Odom.

Bob was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. He won a full scholarship to Fishburne Military School in Waynesboro, VA. While there, he played baseball and went on to play minor league baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Following that, he was employed for many years at E.I. DuPont, and after retiring, he was able to concentrate on some of his other passions. He was exceptional at restoring furniture and was an antique dealer for over 25 years. Bob had a booth in Menagerie Antiques in Camden for many years where he was known as a kind person and a true gentleman, always ready to lend a helping hand. He was always a big sports fan, especially watching and playing golf.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Sharon Singleton of Camden; brother, Jerry Odom of Virginia; and special friend, Marcene Frost.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bob is predeceased by his son, Robert 'Bobby" Odom.
