Nancy Wride was born in Los Banos, California to Thomas and Sybil Kaljian. Nancy attended Los Banos High School and College of the Pacific, where she met her late husband, Garry C. Wride. Nancy lived in the Los Altos area for over 65 years. She was very active in community work with the Stanford Blood Bank, Allied Arts Guild, P.E.O, and the Red Hat Society. A loving and dedicated mother and grandmother, Nancy spent countless hours planning activities for her children and grandchildren. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends, whether in the Bay Area, Huntington Lake, Pajaro Dunes, Sun Lakes, AZ, Los Banos, or while traveling the world. When she was not traveling, she could be found at Maples Pavillion cheering on the Stanford Basketball teams.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marjorie Kaljian Chomiak, and her loving husband Garry C. Wride.
Nancy is survived by her Sister Sybil A. Balatti, children Michael (Christi), Karen, and Wendy (Greg), and her grandchildren Megan, Justin (Hannah), Halle, Anna, and Lily and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements have been made through Spangler Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the Alzheimer's Association at https://act.alz.org/.
