I had the privilege of teaching alongside Bill in 2010-2011. Bill was steady, kind, and deeply committed to his students. He brought music to the classroom, sang with the children, and had a quiet way of making every child feel seen. I will never forget the story of him accepting a student's dare to kiss a giraffe -- then actually going to the zoo with his family to do it. His passing is far too soon, I am sorry to hear this. But his kindness, creativity, and patience he gave so many live on. I am thankful to have know him. He was a nice person and teacher.

He was my kindergarten teacher and taught me the basics to life. We would jump around and do silly dance until the whole class was tired. He was so loving I miss him and I hope heaven treats him well.

Mr Wride was an amazing teacher and an even more amazing person. He was my son Zach´s kindergarten teacher...but it didn´t stop there. 2 weeks after starting first grade with Ms Canaiy my son had a serious injury and spent 7 months in the Critical Care Unit at Children´s Hospital. Mr Wride and Ms Canaiy drove to Denver 2 nights a week to read and work with him so he wouldn´t be behind when he was finally able to go back to school. He looked out for and loved his students as if they were his own. Praying for strength for his family during this time of loss.

Mr. Wride was was a memorable teacher when I started school. I remember him still to this day and I'm 36 years old. Such a kind soul, gentle personality, and heart of gold. He left an impact on this world and he will be deeply missed. Soon, I will become a doctor, and feel he was a large part of how I started my education, and will always remember his encouragement. Praying for strength for his family during this time of loss.

I was a volunteer literacy tutor at BF Kitchen. I asked Bill if I could volunteer in his kindergarten class. He allowed me to help anytime I wanted to. Once when he had a male student teacher plus me in his class, we had three men teaching that class of kindergarteners. I loved hearing him teaching with his guitar.

Mr. Wride was my kindergarten teacher for my 2 older sisters and me. I´ve seen him around Loveland since kindergarten at a Runza Restaurant and a few other places as I became more grown. My favorite memory, that I can remember, is he caught me eating another classmates popcorn and I claimed to have done it because I saw a spider in it and had to eat it, although he wasn´t pleased I was eating another classmates snack it makes me chuckle today. I remember the guitar playing and the fun twist on learning he had. Coming across this obituary unlocked some memories I didn´t really know I had still. My condolences to the family and close friends.
