Nansi Krauss

Nansi E. Krauss, 61, of Kendall Park, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Born in New Brunswick, Nansi was raised in North Brunswick where she was a graduate of North Brunswick Township High School, Class of 1982. A talented musician, both vocally and instrumentally, Nansi followed in her parents' and siblings' footsteps, participating in many choirs and bands in high school and beyond. A longtime member of the North Brunswick Adult Drama Club, Nansi was most recently rehearsing for The Brook Arts Center Community Players production of "A Christmas Carol".
Nansi had worked with the Township of North Brunswick Public Works Department and also served as the Secretary for the North Brunswick Historical Society.
Devout in her faith, Nansi was an active member of Abiding Love Lutheran Church, of South Brunswick, where she served as Council President and a lay preacher. She was currently serving on New Jersey Synod Council, was a student in 'Growing in Faith', (a spiritual formation program for those desiring to deepen their faith in service to God), an active participant at the House Next Door Spiritual Formation Center, and she enjoyed attending retreats at the Crossroads Retreat Center.
Predeceased by her parents, George P. and Christine (Rossey) Krauss; Nansi is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Barbara K. and Nicholas Santoro of Milltown, NJ, Kathryn and Greg Galtere of Reading, PA, and Edward and Shelley Krauss of Richmond, VA; her nieces and nephews; her great nieces and nephews; and her many dear friends.
A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Abiding Love Lutheran Church, 3330 Route 27, Kendall Park, NJ, with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nansi's memory to Abiding Love Lutheran Church, 3330 NJ-Route 27, Kendall Park, NJ 08824 or a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
