Mark R. Barricelli

Mark Richard Barricelli, 77, of Hamilton, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 24, 2025.
Born in Camden and raised in Pennsauken, NJ. Mark was the oldest of three siblings with younger brother, Stephen, and younger sister, Patricia. Mark was a 1966 graduate of Pennsauken High School. After high school, he attended Kent State University and then went on to finish his bachelor's degree in Architecture from Spring Garden College in Philadelphia. In 1973, Mark married his loving wife, Mary, and together they raised their two daughters, Jenean and Angela, in Woodbury, NJ. Mark was employed in various architectural firms throughout his professional career until his retirement in 2020 from Ewing-Cole in Philadelphia.
Throughout his life, Mark enjoyed various pursuits including writing poetry, painting, golfing, and he even wrote a memoir in which he shared the stories of his life. He was also passionate about the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, model trains, and horse racing.
Predeceased by his parents, Mario and Rose (Massaro) Barricelli; he is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary (Leibrand); his daughters and sons-in-law, Jenean and Nick Wenzke and Angela and Mark Celio; his grandchildren, Megan Celio and Ryan Celio, Nathan Wenzke and Nicholas Wenzke; his brother and sister-in-law Stephen and Bernadette Barricelli and his sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Richard Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 10:00am until 12:00pm with a Memorial Service to begin at 12pm at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mark's honor to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
