Naomi Nudd

Canandaigua – Naomi (Stearns) Brown Nudd, age 99, passed away peacefully, on Friday, September 26, 2025. She is survived by two daughters, Mary (William) Jones and Colleen (Kevin) Patterson; son-in-law, Dale Snover; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands, John A. Brown and Lloyd A. Nudd; four children, Kathy Marxer, John A. Brown, Jr., Carolyn Snover and Sylvia Foringer; brother, Miles "Ray" Stearns, Jr.; and four grandchildren.

Naomi was born in Rochester and was the daughter of Miles R. and Mary (Lloyd) Stearns. She attended Naples schools and was a graduate of Naples Central School, class of 1944. Naomi became an ordained minister in the 1960's and mostly performed weddings. She later worked at FF Thompson Hospital as a nurse's aide and was also a home health aide. Naomi loved animals, especially dogs, old country music, gospel music, travel and reading the bible. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Friends may call Thursday, October 2, from 5-7pm, at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Private interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua.
