Natalie Gibson

Natalie Anne Gibson, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2025, after a long battle with addiction.
Natalie was born on January 12, 1970, in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, to the late Dwight Douglas Gibson and Ruth Doyle Gibson.
Natalie's life was full of many struggles. These struggles created distance between her and many of her loved ones. However, behind those struggles was a kind, gentle, generous soul. One who cared deeply, loved fiercely, and tried repeatedly to find her footing. When Natalie was at her best, she was thoughtful, funny, and full of life. She loved spending time with her family. We will always remember the sound of her laughter, the warmth in her smile, and her overwhelming love and generosity she showed to those she loved when she was truly herself. Those are the moments we choose to hold on to, the moments that remind us of who Natalie truly was. We take comfort in knowing that her struggles are over and that she is finally a t peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her story reminds us that love endures, even though pain, and that every person deserves to be remembered for their light, not their darkness.
Natalie is survived by her children, Jacob Gibson, Anthony Martinette, and Nicholas Martinette; her grandchildren Hailey, Skyler, and Anthony Drake; her brothers, Ryan Gibson and wife Traci, and Marc Gibson; nieces and nephews, Hunter, Wyatt, Sadie, and Sterling; and her dear friend, who was like a sister, Iney Weaver.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at 6 p.m. at Kingdom Life Ministries, 1280 Bells Mill Rd, Chesapeake.
