Natalie Leah Lieberman Gorvine, 83, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA.

Natalie was born on August 19, 1941, to the late Samuel L. Lieberman and Miriam Lieberman (nee Greenwood). She attended the Philadelphia High School for Girls and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish from Temple University. A linguist, she was fluent in Hebrew and an unparalleled editor. Natalie began her career at Get Set, an early iteration of Head Start, as a preschool teacher and later worked at the medical library of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where she supported both doctors and parents. Natalie also offered many families comfort and guidance as a hospital chaplain in her later years.

Natalie gave to her community meaningfully throughout her life. She was a dedicated member of Congregations Mishkan Shalom and P'nai Or and a tireless volunteer with many organizations, including being a founding member of the Reconstructionist Chevrah Kadisha of Philadelphia, the Fair Housing Council, the League of Women Voters, and the National Havurah Institute.

Natalie is survived by her loving children, Martin (Jacqueline) Berman-Gorvine and Ben (Amy Milner) Gorvine. She was a cherished grandmother to Jonathan and Daniel Gidron, Jefferson Berman-Gorvine, and Emma and Sophie Milner-Gorvine. She is also survived by her dear sister, Gertrude Zuckermann of Jerusalem, Israel; her cousins Naomi and Nathaniel Greenwood; and many loving family members and close friends.

Natalie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Harold Gorvine.
