Natalie C. Lee

Natalie Chiappetta Lee, age 97, of Metairie, LA passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026. She was born on December 24, 1928, and lived a long, full life devoted to her family and the simple joys that made each day meaningful.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Natalie dedicated her life to her home and those she loved most. She was a caring and patient mother who raised two children and later cherished the blessings of three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her endless pride and happiness.

Natalie found joy in painting, often spending quiet hours bringing color and beauty to her world. She had an irresistible sweet tooth and never turned down a cookie, slice of cake, or anything lovingly baked and shared. Her warmth, laughter, and gentle strength touched everyone she met, and she would do anything for her family, always putting their needs and happiness above her own.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Salvador Lee, Sr. and her dear son, Salvador Lee, JR. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Anna Maria Lee; her cherished daughter in law, Grace Maurer Lee; three adored grandchildren, Salvador Lee, III, Stephanie Lee and Joanna Lee Rodriguez and seven wonderful great grandchildren, Landry, Olivia, Sophia, Samuel, Alexander, Jonathan and Joel.

Natalie will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and boundless love. Her family finds comfort knowing she is now reunited with those she missed so deeply, and that her spirit lives on in all who were lucky enough to love her.

Services will be held at Archbishop Rummel Chapel on 1901 Severn Ave., Metairie, LA 70001 on March 28,2026 from 12:00-2:00pm, with burial to follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
