Natalie Jane Williams, age 74 of Marion, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. On August 28, 1947, she was born in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Charles Rodney and Betty Jane (Hearing) Saffell, and on December 23, 1987, she married her husband, Lee Williams, in Green Camp.
Natalie worked at Wyandot Popcorn, Tri-Rivers Career Center, and most recently at Lowe's. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and the outdoors in general, especially the beach. She loved traveling to places like Lake Erie and Eagle Lake in Canada. Her other hobbies included painting, cooking, and sewing, and she spent many years pursuing her passion for interior design. She loved the Cleveland Browns and her fur babies, and she was the best mom, grandma, and great-grandma. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband Lee Edward Williams; her children Chris (Celeste) Newlove, Lori (Brent Lane) Newlove, Janet (Tim) Van Gorden, and Wayne Williams; her grandchildren Nick (Candice) Carano, Lindsay (Kyle) Newlove Foster, Austin (Morgan) Newlove, Brandon Congrove, Breanna Beery, Andrew Van Gorden, Ethan (Summer) Van Gorden, Cassandra (Doug) Moyer, Jacob (Miranda) Van Gorden, Paige Decker, Bryce Williams, Tyler Williams, Aidan Navarro, Austin Navarro, and Ashton Karr; her great-grandchildren Corabelle, Madilynn, Ava, Skylar, Giana, Avery, Raelynn Jane, Addalynn, Dakotah, Kennedy, Aeriana, and Brantley; her sister Melodye Sue (Al) Gamble; her sister-in-law Barb Saffell; and her nieces and nephews Brent (Tiffany) Saffell, Heidi (Erick) Lopez, Ian (Sarah) Gamble, and Tara (Nich) Maloney.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rodney and Betty Saffell, her brother Jim Saffell, and her nephew Scott Saffell.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 3 pm to 6 pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. Services will take place on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 11 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Marion Cemetery.
