Natalija Markovic

Natalija Markovic, age 85, longtime resident of Chicago, passed away at her home Friday morning, June 2, 2023. Born in Gukosi, Serbia to the late Leposava and the late Svetozar Sajich and an active member of Old Holy Resurrection- Palmer Square Serbian Orthodox Church and member of Kolo Srpskih Sestara, she was the beloved wife of 48 years to the late Gojko; cherished mother of Milos (Jasmina) Markovic and Vesna Markovic; dear grandmother of Dusan, Tijana, Maja (David) Pejic, and Marina; treasured sister of the late Milica (the late Milisav) Radovinovic, and the late Milan (Ljubica) Sajich; and fond aunt of Marko (Julie) Sajich and Mirjana (Dejan) Vucic; and Milena, Sara, Viktor, and Adam. She will be dearly missed by Kumovi, family and friends in the Serbia, The United States and Germany.
Family and friends to meet Tuesday, June 6, 2023 for Opelo (Funeral Service) 11 a.m. at New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35420 W. Grant Ave, Third Lake. Interment New Gracanica Cemetery.
