Nathan David Park

Nathan David Park, aged 31, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at his home in Peoria.
Nate was born August 21, 1991, in Peoria, to David R. Park and Lisa (Smith) Park. His mother and step-father, Lisa Park and Jeff McLinden survive him. Also surviving are sisters, Sarah and Allison Park, grandparents, Don and Jan Smith and Barb Park, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, David, two uncles, Mike and Steve, cousin Marcus Foster, and grandfather Richard Park.
Nate was passionate about live music and an avid reader. No one knew more about movies or could talk thoroughly through them better. He loved art, podcasts and learning about anything and everything and always knowing more about it than you. Nate's joyfulness, exuberance and kindness to others was beautiful to experience. He loved art and expressed himself in many creative ways. Nate graduated Notre Dame High School and attended St. Ambrose University on an art scholarship.
Funeral service will be held for family and friends at 2:30pm at Resurrection Mausoleum Chapel on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, with a one hour prior visitation. Father David Richardson will officiate. Burial will follow at Resurrection cemetery.
