Nathanael Delano Morgan, affectionately known as “Nate,” passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, in Conway, Arkansas, at the age of 90.
Nate was born on January 9, 1935, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Andrew Morgan and Mary Morgan-Martin.Throughout his life, Nate was known for his kind heart, warm smile, and the genuine way he made everyone feel welcome — traits that shone brightly during his many years as a beloved door greeter at Walmart. To the countless customers who passed through the doors, he was more than just an employee — he was a friendly face, a steady presence, and a part of their daily lives..
He is survived by his loving daughter, Teresa (Paul) Gorecke; his grandchildren, April (Luke) Pollard, Brendon (Amy) Morgan, and Jennifer (Travis) Thessing; his great-grandchildren Levi, Benjamin, Makynzi, Luke, and Beau. Nate cherished his family deeply and was especially proud of his grandchildren, always eager to share their accomplishments with a smile.
Nate was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy Morgan; his son, Michael Morgan; his parents, Andrew and Mary; and his siblings, Andrew Jr., Betty, and Ann.
Nate’s life was one of quiet resilience, kindness, and deep family devotion. Whether offering words of encouragement, lending a helping hand, or simply sharing a laugh, he touched the lives of those around him in a meaningful way.
A visitation will be held to honor Nate’s life and legacy from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
