Nathaniel Brown, "Nate" was born in Sarasota, FL on May 15, 1953 to Percell and Essie M. Brown. The family then relocated to New Jersey in 1954, where they resided in the city of Plainfield. They then moved to Piscataway, NJ in the 1960's, where Nate attended Piscataway public schools.
Nate was a star football and track runner in High School. He graduated from Piscataway High school - class of 1971. After graduation, Nate worked at National Starch located in Plainfield, NJ. He worked at Burroughs Corp and Warner as a chef and also in Piscataway as a chef.
Nate was briefly married in the early 1980's.
After the 9-5 jobs, Nate worked as a part time taxi driver - where he knew everyone and everyone knew him. Nate always had a big hello and a laugh for all he came in contact with.
He attended Calvary Full Gospel Church in Plainfield off and on, where he became Pastor Beatrice Burns personal driver. Nate would drive her to the Bowery in NY, missionary meeting in Brooklyn and all over. He took Mother Brown as his second mother and she took him as her son
Nate loved to draw pictures of various things. He was a car enthusiast, attending car shows in Bound Brook, Flemington and Kennilworth. Nate loves his big Apple Jack Hats and sun glasses. He was a fun and interesting character. Most of all he was our Big Brother Nate!
Nate passed away due to complications from Colon cancer. He was predeceased by his father, Percell Brown, his mother, Essie Brown, brother, Anthony Brown and his son, Anthony Nathaniel Brown.
Nate leaves to cherish memory- One son, Jamar Williamson, Sr, Two grandsons, Jamar Williamson Jr and Jaeshawn Clifton Wilson. One sister- Minister Denise Brown, One brother, Kevin Brown ( Jackie), Two nieces, Lashona and Lamarra Brown, One nephew, Kevin Brown Jr, One great niece and One great nephew, A special cousin and friend, Julia Pernell, Close family friends for over 50 years- Tia Spivey and the Spivey Family, Mother Erma and Father Governor and a host of cousins and friends.
