Nathaniel Lee Franklin was born October 22,
1954 to the late Edward, Sr. and Helen Franklin in
Mobile, Alabama. He departed this earthly life
September 29, 2025.
Nathaniel attended Toulminville High School and
was a member of the graduating Class of 1973.
He chose to serve his country and joined the
United States Marines, Corp. shortly afterwards.
Nathaniel was a talented artist who loved to draw
and paint. He used his talent to professionally paint residential
and commercial properties.
Later in life, he married Felicia Grimes on July
31, 2010. They attended Divine Direction
Christian Center. He was currently serving as a
Deacon at DDCC under the direction of Bishop
Charles Anderson.
Nathaniel leaves to cherish his legacy and
memories, to his wife, Felicia Franklin; his son,
Nathaniel Dale; sisters: Cynthia (Connie)
Franklin and Corrine Powe; brothers: Earl
Franklin, and Robert (Tanya) Franklin; five
grandchildren, several nieces and a nephew;
and a host of cousins, extended family and
friends.
