Nay Brevard Obituary
A native of Henderson County, Mrs. Brevard had owned and operated her own flower shop for many years. She was a longtime member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church and an avid hiker. She had also volunteered for 10 years to keep the hiking trails maintained in the Pisgah National Forest.
Mrs. Brevard was the daughter of the late John Henry and Frances Burrell Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Ephraim Brevard; her second husband, Ralph Turnberg; a son, Denny Darnell Brevard; one brother and five sisters.
Surviving are her son, Bobby Brevard and wife Tammy; daughter, Sheree Brevard; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Lorene Aarons and husband Andrew; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Friday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
