Neal P. Williams, age 47, of Brick passed away peacefully with family at his side on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Neal was born in Toms River and was formerly of Forked River before moving to Brick 14 years ago. Neal was a 1996 graduate of Lacey Township High School. Neal enjoyed spending his time working at 21 Plus, attending the Special Olympics, Camp Jotoni and bowling with his team, the Ocean Rollers. A devoted Eagles fan who will be remembered for his quiet humor.
Neal was predeceased by his parents, Dean and Kathleen Williams, his brother Michael Williams and his caregiver Bryan Olsen. He is survived by his siblings, Moira Williams, Meghan Meehan and her husband Vince, and Katherine Bradley and her husband John. His nieces and nephews: Andrew Ritchie, Evan Ritchie, Maeve Meehan and Declan Meehan, his aunt Mary Ellen Ridder. Neal is also survived by his loving caregiver of 14 years Joe Oquendo and many loving family and friends.
The Williams family will be forever grateful to Joe and Bryan for opening their home and hearts to Neal and providing him a loving second family.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 3:00 pm till 5:00 pm at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Route 9, Forked River. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Special Olympics or Camp Jotoni-ARC of Somerset County.
