It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Neil Nelson Frank, Sr. who departed this life on March 22, 2025, at the age of 81. Neil was born on December 08, 1943, in Bayonne, NJ to Arthur E. Frank, Sr. and Catherine J. Frank (nee Nelson).
Neil grew up in Bayonne, NJ in a loving household with three siblings- Arthur Jr, Fred and Cathy. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, building, camping, tinkering, target shooting with BB guns, exploring, and time on his boat. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He told many good, funny stories about his adventures with his brothers when they were supposed to be "watching" him. He teased his younger sister quite frequently, but would always gift her with little trinkets. Neil loved his family. At a very young age, he started to work for his father who taught him great work ethic, life skills and the abilities to fix anything.
Neil met the love of his life, Barbara, and they married in July of 1964. Together they raised three children- Linda, Cynthia and Neil Jr. All lived in a loving home in Bayonne, NJ. Neil had an unwavering commitment to his family. He was a devoted husband and father. Life was about family bbq's, vacations, celebrations of life events, day trips, fun, laughter, tears, but most of all love. He did this all while teaching respect, honor and dignity to his children.
Neil was a strong willed, loving, funny, giving, kind, thoughtful, compassionate, honorable, intelligent, fierce and fearless man. He had great insight and was known for his innovative ideas, listening skills, dignity and determination. He put everyone before himself. His heart was pure and flowed over with love. He always tried to make people laugh and put a smile on their face.
Neil worked as a plant manager for Color Guard Fence Company in Raritan, NJ for many years. He then followed a dream from his childhood, and opened up a general store/deli in Bayonne, NJ. He turned it into a very successful business which enabled him and his wife to relocate to Palm Bay, FL in 1992. After Barbara's death in 1998, Neil started a handyman business. He worked for himself until about 2020. He continued to stay active, fixing things around the house and yard.
He is predeceased by his wife Barbara Frank (Malia). Daughter Linda M. Digiacomo (Frank). Grandson Ryan James Cordes. Mother Catherine Frank (Nelson). Father Arthur E. Frank. Brothers Fred P. Frank and Arthur E Frank, Jr. Brother-in-law- Barry Sinclair.
Neil is survived by his Daughter Cynthia Monos (Frank). Son Neil N Frank, Jr. Granddaughter Brittany Cordes Fernandes (Cordes). Son in Law Michel Fernandes. Great Grandson Luka Frank Fernandes. Sister Cathy Kucharski (Frank). Brother-in-law Charlie Kucharski. Sister-in-law Janet Sinclair (Malia). Maria Padilla, Kelly and all of the Yoest boys. Every cousin, niece, nephew, friend and acquaintance. He has touched the lives and hearts of many.

Papa. You will be forever missed. You were one of a kind, and I will miss hearing "Hello Kathleen" when you called me or I called you. You were loved by all that knew you, and we have all suffered a tremendous loss.

Rest peacefully knowing you made a positive impact on this world. You were a good father and papa to your family and a good friend to the rest of us.

Love Kathy and Matt
