I worked with Neil at the Federal Courthouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
A nicer man you would never meet. He was low keyed and quiet.
He had an easy Southern mannter in his personality which made it
possible to like him as soon as you met him. He was conscienous in
his job responsibilities and had a genuine sense of humor. Neil was
my friend and one day gave me a knife because it was made in Ireland
and he knew I had Irish Heritage. He transfered to the Akron Office and
I missed him. I was not surprised to hear he had a strong religious core and served as a deacon at his church. I wished that I could have heard
him sing. John Robinson

Neil and I worked at the Stokes Federal Court House for a couple of years until he transferred to Akron. We joked and laughed a lot. Simply put Neil was fun to work and we enjoyed comparing notes over our past. My condolences to Neils wife and his entire family.

When I started working as a Court Security Officer at the Federal Court, Neil was one of three guys who made me feel welcome there. He talked to me as if we had known each other for years. He was like that with me the whole time we were at the court together. When we worked a post together, Neil was always very professional and did his job the right way. He usually didn't have a lot to say, but he always had something to say, and it was usually humorous and spoken with a smile. I never heard him say anything bad about anyone and I never heard any gossip from him. He was a good, steady guy. God bless him and his family.
