Neil Marzano Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 15, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Neil Charles Marzano, 68, originally of Barnegat, New Jersey.
He was born to the late Edith and John Marzano on April 7th, 1957, in Newark, New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Catherine Marzano. He departed from us in the early hours of December 8th, 2025, in Milton, Delaware of natural causes.
He was a supervisor for Rich Mark trucking company out of Bayville for many years. He was a jack of all trades and a master of most. If it was broken, no matter what it was, he would fix it, and was able to build a house from the foundation to the shingles. He was often found under the hood of one vehicle or another, or playing with some electronic gadget he just picked up. In his spare time, he liked building car models, playing his computer games, or doing the occasional puzzle. But he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He always made sure he had cookies and snacks ready for them, and was not afraid to get on the ground and play with whatever new toy he just brought them. He was a quiet man with a killer wit. He was kind, generous, and always quick to lend a hand to anyone in need.
He is survived by his two daughters, Catherine Marzano and Christine Marzano, his six grandchildren, Neil Marzano Jr., Katelynn Wallis, Angelina Herczeg, Damien Welsch, Daven Bennett, and Oliver Davis, and his six brothers and sisters, Margaret Marzano, Darlene Carter, William Marzano, Henry Marzano, Edith Storms, and Lillian Mitchell.
There will be no services held, as it was his wish that we remember him as he was; he is at peace and reunited with his wife and loved ones.
