Nellie Boisclair, age 99, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away on October 23, 2025, at home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arsene J Boisclair; 2 brothers, Jack and Edgar Holcroft Jr; grandson, Christopher Boisclair; both parents and grandparents.
She was survived by a sister, Rachel (James) Watts; 3 children, Jeanette Walters, Raymond (Becky) Boisclair, and Randy Boisclair; 2 grandchildren that she helped raise, Chasity (Michael) Jones and Alex Boisclair along with Charles (Rose) Boisclair and Adrianne Boisclair; 12 great grandchildren and other relatives.
Nellie was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She always made sure to put others before herself.
In lieu of flowers or food, donations can be made in her memory to Skyland Baptist Church.

Rachel and Raymond,
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember meeting Mrs. Boisclair years ago while I was working at Burnham Hahn. She was such a sweet lady. I will certainly be praying for your comfort and peace as well as for the rest of the family's.
