Nellie Sharon Granger

Sharon Granger, 84, of Cantonment, FL, passed away on August 12, 2024. She was born in Kinderhook Twp, Michigan on August 18, 1939 to Harold and Helen Sowle. She was married to Larry Granger for 67 years.
Sharon was a full-time homemaker, who created a warm, comfortable, loving home. She had a passion for family, baking, and "bling." As a true "Proverbs 31" woman, she took great pride in her home and family. She loved gardening and flowers, was an excellent seamstress, and an incredible baker. She often shared her baked treats with others, and became known for her various confections. It was very important for her to always have cookies and treats on hand when her grandchildren came to visit.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Harold Sowle; mother, Helen McFadden; Stepfather, Ralph "Red" McFadden, Jr.; brother, Charles Sowle; and sister, Connie Bradshaw. She is survived by husband, Larry Granger; brother, Mike Sowle; sisters, Patti Hudson and Wendy McFadden; children, Cathy Mosier, Scott Granger, Todd Granger, and Craig Granger, their spouses; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Sharon left earth with Jesus in her heart, and her family takes comfort in knowing they will be reunited again in Heaven someday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Charity Baptist Church,1675 W Roberts Rd, Cantonment, FL, in Sharon's name, to be used toward missions.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 2:00pm at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida. Dr. James McGaughey will be officiating.
