Born 19 Nov 1928 to Benjamin A. and Ruth Moore in Marion, OH. She was a graduate of the Ohio State University, School of Home Economics. Nellie served as a volunteer and President of NNEMAP Food Pantry in Columbus, and at The Salvation Army and the Hurst Hospitality House in Winchester.
Married to Don R McCabe on 5 Aug 1951 in Columbus,OH.
Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Don, and by her brother- and sister-in law, Alan and Marjorie McCabe, formerly of Sarasota FL. Surviving are her son Richard and daughter-in-law Cathleen; her grandsons, Ryan and Scott; all of Fairfax County, VA; and her sister and her sister's husband, Helen and Rex Ritchie of Winchester VA.
