Nellie Kime Zinno

Nellie Kime Zinno, a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and cherished soul, passed away on March 26, 2026. Born on Christmas Day in North Carolina, Nellie carried the warmth and spirit of the holiday with her throughout her life-a light that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She later made her home in Florida, where she continued to cultivate the relationships and simple joys that meant so much to her. Nellie had a deep appreciation for life's pleasures, especially sharing a good meal with great company. Whether gathered around a table or taking in a peaceful view of nature, she found beauty in connection and in the world around her.

A kind Southern soul with a spirited, "spicy" personality, Nellie was known for her humor and her unforgettable expressions-especially her delighted exclamation, "this is out of this world!" when savoring something truly special. Her laughter and presence brought comfort, joy, and authenticity to every room she entered.

Nellie loved her friends and family deeply, and that love was returned to her many times over. She will be remembered for her compassion, her vibrant spirit, and the way she made ordinary moments feel extraordinary.

Nellie is survived by her son Frankie, her daughter Nanci, and her granddaughter Samantha.
