Nelson J. "Nel" Schuler

In remembrance of Nelson J. Schuler, Jr. aka "Nel" who passed away peacefully at home in Parkville, MD on 12/14/2025.
Nelson was a loving, caring, humble person with many attributes worth mentioning. Most who knew Nel knew him for his laid back lifestyle, although he was a manual worker by trade, he worked hard but also enjoyed beautifying outdoor landscapes. He loved listening to oldies music, and playing the "table" drums. He loved the Baltimore Ravens and enjoyed collecting Peanuts/Snoopy everything. He loved his family. He was not always the perfect mentor, although he would try his best to set good examples and teach good behaviors. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his life partner Deborah Kable, daughters Angie Woodard (Kable) & Wesley Woodard, Meghan Gaffney and Candy Winpigler (Schuler) & Mike Winpigler, son David and Roxane Kable, grandchildren Shane, Layla, Sebastion, Tyler, David, Alexis & Tristan, nephew Dwayne Ward & family, niece Tracy Ward & family, estranged brother Pat Schuler & family.
There will be a celebration of life held in memory of Nelson which date and time will be determined and communicated once his cremated remains have returned back home to the family. There will be a Facebook event created and notices will be sent out via mail to those not on social media.
