Wrighton, Nelson Guillermo passed away after a long illness, with part of his family by his side, on March 2nd, 2011 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Nelson was born in Santiago, Chile on September 29th, 1940, first child of the late Guillermo Wrighton and Francisca Barria. Nelson came to USA in 1972 seeking new opportunities for his wife and family, temporarily returning to Chile finding himself missing the American life style, and later on returned to USA in 1990 with Cecilia to pursue his life of happiness together, where they found and made new friendships that help them grow and succeed in the American dream, friendships that exists to this day. He will always be remembered with love and unforgettable memories by everyone that knew him, due to his personal qualities as well as his corky sense of humor. "Thank you God for the gift of his life."
He is survived by his wife Cecilia of 51 wonderful years of marriage, 3 daughters and 2 sons: Cecilia, Brigitte, William, Jaime and Carol and his Mother Francisca. As well as his 12 grandchildren, which are spread over 3 continents?
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass Saturday March 12, 2011 at 11:00am from the Church of St. Mary of Clinton Heights 163 Columbia Tpk. Rensselaer.
