Nevaeh Lea Philbrick-Sappington

On evening of June 4th 2024 Nevaeh "Vaeh" Lea Philbrick-Sappington gained her wings in a tragic accident. She was 17 years old.
Vaeh was born February 6, 2007, at the hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Faith Sappington, Travis Philbrick and Kevin Sappington. Vaeh was attending Epic Charter school online as a Junior. She loved working at What-a-burger. Her goals after graduation were to go to college to become a surgeon, diesel mechanic or EMT.
Vaeh enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to help anyone do just about anything. She was a tomboy and wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty. Vaeh was our protector, no matter how stubborn or bullheaded she was she thought she was about 10ft tall and bulletproof when it came to her Mama, Dad's, and her family and friends. She was very kindhearted and would do just about anything for anyone no matter what. If you knew her you know she would try everything to brighten your day, always make you laugh, tell jokes, and would do goofy things to make you smile. She was a mommy and daddy's girl.
Vaeh loved to fish, mow the yard, listen to music, play clarinet in band, and loved FFA. She loved spending time with her nephew Braxton, no matter how busy she was she would come over play cars and tickle him. She loved hearing him laugh. Vaeh would always walk in the door and say give me my baby. Her heart was so big and she always helped anyone and protected everyone. Vaeh was very outgoing and always spoke her mind. She loved being with her best friend/cousin Sophie, they were born and raised together, they had an unbreakable bond. She loved spending time with her sis/best friend Kaci playing Minecraft together and listening to music. She loved going skating with her baby brother Jace and always let him sleep with her. Vaeh loved swimming and dancing with her friends by the pool, wrestling, throwing a football with her big brothers Zach and Jake.
She is survived by her parents, Faith Sappington, Travis Philbrick, Kevin Sappington; grandparents, Dan and Sherry Sappington, Carol West, Robin Northern; sisters, Niki Philbrick, Kaci Philbrick-Sappington, Karli Sappington, Ella Mae Philbrick; brothers, Jace Philbrick-Sappington, Zachary Philbrick, Kayden Branthoover, and Jacob West.
Vaeh is preceded in death by her grandparents, Gary and Norma Philbrick, Roy Anderson, John West, and Chris Northern.
The viewing will be held on Friday June 14th, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Services, 1525 NE 1st Street, Pryor, OK 74361.
The service will be held Saturday June 15th, 2024, at 11am at the Stephen's-key funeral home chapel, Pastor Lee Brown will officiate.
