Nicholas John "Nick" Carcich

Nicholas John Carcich, 76, Sunset Beach, NC entered eternal rest on October 8, 2022. Nick was born in Jersey City, NJ on June 30, 1946, the son of John and Joanna Carcich.

Nick worked at Buck Engineering/Lab Volt for 44 years. He was a previous member of Ascension Church, Bradley Beach, NJ and a current member of St. Brendan's Catholic Church, Shallotte. Nick was a member of the Knights of Columbus, former CCD teacher and coached several sports for his children. He was also a Vietnam Vet. Nick took pride in watching his children and grandchildren thrive in academics and sports.

Nick is survived by his wife, Diane Silvay Carcich of Sunset Beach, NC; children, Niki (Allan), Myrtle Beach, SC, Jacqui Tinik (Rusty), Neptune, NJ and Jeremy Carcich (Meghan), Piney Flats, TN; grandchildren, Cameron, Jett, Gehrig, Cagney and Jack; sister, Maria Zarillo (Tom), Allentown, PA; step-sister, Jude Hagin (Dennis), St. Augustin, FL and many nieces and nephews, he loved dearly.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Funeral Mass at St. Brendan's on Monday, October 17, 2022, at 10:00 am. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
