Nicholas L. Corrato, Jr., 75, of Marlton, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly, NJ. Born on February 22, 1950, in Philadelphia, PA, Nicholas, known affectionately as Big Nick by his loved ones, lived a life marked by joy, passion, and an unwavering love for his family.
Nick's journey began in South Philadelphia, where his vibrant spirit and infectious laughter were a beacon of light to all who knew him. He met the love of his life, Elaina S. Corrato (DiTizio), and together they built a beautiful family, celebrating 55 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Their bond was a testament to true partnership and devotion. A dedicated father, Nick instilled in his children, Dara Corrato (Steaven DeCarles) and Christopher Corrato (Lisa), the values of kindness, loyalty, dedication, and the importance of family. He took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to Tommy Corrato, sharing with him the simple joys of life and the warmth of unconditional love. Nick's caring nature extended to his niece, Gina Migliarese, and the many cousins who were an integral part of his life.
Nick was a culinary enthusiast, he loved to cook and took great pleasure in the art of creating delicious meals for his family and friends. His home was often filled with the aromas of his latest recipes, and his kitchen was the heart of many gatherings. Nick's love for food was matched only by his love for people, and his house parties and entertaining were legendary among his circle. A true Philadelphian, Nick's enthusiasm for the city's sports teams knew no bounds, and he was a fervent supporter of the Eagles. His spirited cheers and sometimes boos for his team were a fixture during the football season. Music was another of Nick's joys, and he found a special kind of freedom in singing. In his later years he enjoyed singing for fun in a few bands in his retirement community. He was happy to share his vocal talents with others, bringing smiles and tapping feet to those who had the pleasure of listening.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Saturday October 25th from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon at the Bradley Funeral Home, 601 Rt 73 South and Evesham Rd, Marlton, NJ 08053. Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 Noon.
