Nicholas Robert DeBiase, 35, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at his home in Jacksonville, Florida.
Nick was born on February 21, 1989, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to John and Nancy (Stack) DeBiase. After graduating from the Episcopal School of Jacksonville in 2007, he attended University of Central Florida, where he earned a bachelors degree in business. Following his education, Nick engaged in various entrepreneurial ventures, including working alongside his father at Valley Medical Products in Jacksonville, Florida. He married Emily Hughes Devine on February 3, 2018, in Miami, Florida. In addition to being an active member of Northeast Florida Association of Realtors, Nick loved being outdoors, traveling, cooking and spending time with his wife and son. Above all, he loved to bring joy and laughter to the lives of those around him.
Nick is survived by his beloved wife, Emily; adoring son, Rex; father, John (Kathy); brothers, Johnny (Jill) and Michael (Tara); grandfather, John J.; uncles, Gary (Kathy), Robert (Nancy) and Michael (Tracy); aunt, Mary Ellen (Bert). Nick also leaves behind several cousins, in-laws, and other relatives who hold him dear in their hearts.
Nick was blessed with many kind friends, colleagues, neighbors, mentors, teachers and coaches who were part of his life. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Nick was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Nancy; aunt, Patty; and his grandparents, Rose, Mary and Robert.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 10:30 to 11:30 at Ponte Vedra Valley. A Memorial Service will start at 11:30, followed by Inurnment, and a Reception, all at Ponte Vedra Valley.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nick's honor to the Nancy Stack-DeBiase Scholarship fund at the Cochran School of Nursing
